ADR  Courses

All drivers within the scope of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (Driver Training) Regulations must be trained and hold a Vocational Training Certificate issued by DVLA. This is required by UK regulations implementing the relevant EU directive.

Courses must be approved by DfT and drivers must pass the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) examinations which are integrated in the courses. Courses are run at our approved training facility in Ipswich or In-company courses can also be scheduled subject to meeting the required standard set out by the SQA. Please note that time spent attending the ADR course will count as duty time under Driver Hours Law Regulations.

Class 4.3 - Dangerous when wet
Class 5.1 - Oxidising agents
Class 5.2 - Organic peroxides
Class 6.1 - Toxic substances
Class 6.2 - Infectious substances
Class 8    - Corrosive substances
Class 9    - Miscellaneous substances

3.5 days (0830 - 1700 hours)

This course can qualify for 21 hours Driver CPC Periodic training

Regular public courses are held in Ipswich, courses can be held at your site subject to site suitabilty and a  minimum of 4 delegates or a maximum of 10. Exams are taken on-line giving instant results.
